There might be other companies in Arizona saying they can remove hardwood floors dust free.

Ask for videos as most of these companies have no experience doing this type of work and make sure they are not using a ride on floor scraping machine as they are NOT dust free.

To be truly dustless, a company should not be using plastic (or any types of sheeting) or water, the dust has to be captured before it goes airborne.

Shop vacuums are not designed for this type of work, grinding wood glue from the concrete floor is extremely dusty and if the vacuum is not an automatic self cleaning vacuum with a triple HEPA filter package, it’s not the right type.

Just having a HEPA vacuum is good start, but try to find videos of someone grinding floors that used to have hardwood on them to get them back to bare concrete floor, using a vacuum that costs less than $3,000 might be a disaster, another reason why you might not find any vacuums.

We have been removing hardwood floors dust free since 2008 and are the ONLY COMPANY in the world that has patents for our vacuums and our attachments.

The process has several steps:

  • The wood is cut by a hand saw into sections
  • Sections are removed with our custom DustRam System
  • All wood glue adhesive is removed with our DustRam System grinder completely dust free
  • The leftover result is just a bare concrete subfloor with is both flatter and also contaminant free

Hardwood removal typically involves grinding over the adhesive with machines that can not only damage your floors but also create a large amount of dust, our system is dustless and won’t contaminate your home with toxic silica dust.
